Fermentation between 18 and 22ºC and carried out deliberately to give a style of white Port sweeter. Aged for na average of three years. Is then bottled and ready to drink and does not require subsequent aging of decanting.
Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega
Very sweet Port wine whose sugar content exceeds 130g per litre. When poured into a glass it resembles tears running down the glasse’s walls, hence its name (Lágrima – tears). It is usually obtained from a blend of 2 to 5 year-old wines.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serving temperature at 15ºC to 16 ºC
This wine is excellent as na aperetif, and fresh. It is also na excellent combination for cakes and sweet desserts.
